| The Beginning of an International Manufacturing Group |

In the early 1950s, INDEVCO Group founder, Georges Frem, migrated from his native city of Jounieh, Lebanon to Dammam, Saudi Arabia. There he began importing European auto parts to the Kingdom via GESPA, a management procurement company based in Lebanon.
Recognizing that demand for packaging materials in the Arabian Gulf was bound to exponentially increase, he forged a partnership with future-minded Saudi businessman, Abdul Rahman Al-Moaibed, to create National Paper Products Company, the first manufacturing plant of paper bags, cement bags, tissue rolls, and plastic crates in Saudi Arabia.
