When Masterpak entered the greenhouse film industry in 1987, Lebanese farmers had been struggling due to civil unrest and uncertain economic conditions. In addition, the glut of imported greenhouse covers forced them to cope with irregular shipments, arriving with hefty costs and lacking manufacturer support.

Today, Masterpak continues to supply greenhouse covers to local growers and exports 78% of its output to Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
