| INDEVCO Group History - 1990s - Planting New Seeds |
|
| Throughout the 1990s, INDEVCO reorganized its production capacities in Lebanon and planted new seeds for corporate development and empowerment. |
In a bold decision after the end of the Lebanese conflict, INDEVCO decided to build Unipak Tissue Mill, the group's testimony to its belief in the resurrection of Lebanon. INDEVCO also enhanced its capacities and business growth to become a regional leader and key player in the flexible packaging manufacturing industry.

In 1996, we diversified in a joint venture with a world leader in kitchen manufacturing, Italian firm Snaidero.
Furthermore, we moved to diversify our portfolio by establishing Phoenix Machinery for machine building and technical solutions. Phoenix has since become the exclusive builder of machine lines for INDEVCO Group.
INDEVCO's growth in Saudi Arabia, operating in the kingdom under the umbrella of Napco Group, continued with the establishment of new manufacturing plants, each specialized in a product line: plastic packaging; corrugated packaging; and consumer disposable items for households and institutions.
Napco Group grew multi-fold in terms of exports and its distribution network, reaching the entire Arabian Gulf area. The number of Napco employees exceeded 1000, compared to few hundred in the late 1960s.
In the US, INDEVCO headquarters Interstate Resources Inc. expanded with two new acquisitions in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Within the Mediterranean, INDEVCO launched a new corrugated manufacturing plant in Egypt and opened our first export sales office in Greece.
