Silage multi-layer polyethylene (PE) films used to protect livestock forage stored in silage pits, bunkers, flat silos and haystacks.
The UV-stabilized films act as an oxygen barrier which decreases dry matter loss, protects nutrients and keep animal fodder fresh by providing an anaerobic condition free of light, water and air which fodder can last up to 12 to 18 months.
Covers prohibit acetic and butyric fermentation that leads to deterioration and decay and block light transmission. Silage sheets designed to fit firmly, can outstand wind gusts and are also UV and puncture resistant.
